Do I need experience to book a course?

Not at all! The Complete Course is suitable for those with absolutely no experience. You just need a passion for nails and a motivation to succeed.

Question 2

I'm already qualified, do you offer any courses for experienced techs?

Yes! My 1-1 mentoring is perfect for experienced, certified techs. We focus on whatever techniques you want to learn or level up in, from French manicures to nail art to shaping. When you enquire, leave a note describing what you're looking for, and I'll build a day that's perfect for you.

How many students are in each class?

Accepted Answer

Gel and Builder Gel courses are limited to just four students per class. Sometimes there are one or two more students in the e-file course. If you prefer 1-1 teaching, I also offer private courses.

Will I get enough 1-1 support in a group?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! I offer loads of 1-1 support, even in group courses. It's still a small class, so you have the opportunity to ask for help and as many questions as you like.

Will I be ready to work on clients after finishing a course?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ensuring you leave feeling confident to work on paying clients is a priority. All my courses are fully accredited, so you will leave certified. Many students set up their own studio, and becoming successful nail techs running their own businesses soon after training with me. Do I need to bring my own kit/products?

This varies per course - further details can be found on each course page. Gel and builder gel courses include a kit. If you're joining the e-file course, you will need your own e-file and drill bits. I provide links to everything I recommend, as well as a discount code for Lucy Pastorelli when you book.

Question 7

What brands and products do you work with?

Accepted Answer

I only use premium, high-quality products that I would use on myself and my clients. I am also an educator for The Gel Bottle, and swear by their products!

Question 8

I can't find any dates that work for me, what should I do?

Accepted Answer

I can be more flexible with dates if you book a private course. Just complete the form, letting me know your availability, and we'll secure a date that works for you.

Is there parking?

There is on-street parking on a few roads near the studio. Details will be provided when you book.

Question 10

I live too far away, do you offer online courses?

Accepted Answer

Training in person is definitely most effective - I have had students travel from far and wide and stay in a local hotel or seafront Airbnb for the night. If you need recommendations for accommodation, message me on Instagram.

Currently, the only online courses I run are live workshops on Instagram - keep an eye on my page to hear about these.
