Hey lovely, I'm Fliss

Five years ago I was sat in a 9–5 job wondering if this was really it for me. I had no clients, no beauty background and no big 5 year plan. I just knew I wanted something that felt like mine.

So took a risk and I trained as a nail tech. I just figured it out as I went.

Fast forward to now, I run my own studio in Kent, have built a community of over 50,000 online (still crazy to me) and teach others how to create real freedom through nails.

I’m big on doing things properly. Correct prep, strong structure and understanding your products. Not just creating pretty sets for Instagram.

More than anything, I care about confidence. Because when you back yourself, everything changes.

And if I can build this from scratch, you absolutely can too 🩷☁️

How I teach

I know what it feels like to want more than the 9–5, to crave a career that feels fulfilling and to question whether you’re capable of making the leap. I came into the industry with zero experience and had to learn everything from the ground up. That real journey, with all the challenges and growth, is exactly what shapes the way I teach.

From beginners knowing nothing but having the dream, to qualified techs wanting to grow and refine their skills, every course is taught in a calm, supportive studio environment where confidence is built just as much as technique. I keep group sizes small, teach at a pace that allows you to truly understand, and focus on what will actually help you succeed once you leave the studio.

You’ll learn real, salon-ready skills with a strong focus on prep, structure and safety, while understanding the why behind what you’re doing. There’s no rushing and no one size fits all teaching, just thoughtful, experience led education from someone who has genuinely been where you are now.

The Studio

A calm, welcoming little studio in Herne Bay, Kent.

It's a relaxed space where you can properly switch off, focus and ask questions freely and feel completely comfortable while you learn. No pressure whatsoever - just good energy and lots of support.

There's a kitchen, so you can make your lunch and help yourself to tea and coffee. The beach is only a short walk away - perfect if you feel like a little reset in your break in the summer.
